When I was 15, my bookkeeper sat me down with a dozen legal envelopes and explained why I should save every receipt that I’m ever handed.

Fast forward to holiday-shopping-season 2016. If you desk is still cluttered with receipts, try Shoeboxed. You can literally stuff all of your receipts and documents into a pre-paid envelope, and they will scan and categorize everything with accounting solutions like Quickbooks, Xero or Bench.
